When you place an order using a credit card or debit card, our system performs a pre-authorization during checkout. A pre-authorization is a standard credit card transaction that allows us to make a charge against your credit card in the future, up to the amount displayed during checkout. Your bank will place a temporary “hold” on the funds on your card, during which time the money may not be available to use, especially with debit cards. We will charge your card when your order is processed, typically within 1 business day.
If your order contains items that are not in stock and can’t ship immediately this hold will automatically expire 3-7 business days after you place your order. No charges will occur until the items are in stock in the shipping process.
